"So i used this for the first time on a overnight kayaking trip with my brother, and we slept in hammocks. that night it ended up pouring rain and being 48 degrees out and at first we were just laying on them but through out the night we got colder so ended up getting inside of the bag and it worked much better."

"I would recommend this bag for a few reasons, 1 being that it is small and compacted and took up very little space, 2 it does work at keeping you warm and will repel water as well , 3 it's pretty durable and held up great and I'm sure i can get another 20 plus uses out of it and 4 for the price it's a great deal."

"The product looks very small, but unfolded, it easily fit around me fully clothed - with additional room. (I weigh 290 pounds and am six foot two inches.) Once used, I feared it would not be easily put back into the accompanying stuff bag. I feared for no reason because I put it back into the bag with no problem. We purchased 4 so we could have one for each of us. I do not regret the purchase."

FAQ Section

Will it keep me warm when camping?

The WarmthNest Bivy is designed to be used in emergency situations and keep you warm. If you still feel that it is not warm enough, we recommend you add a warmer sleeping pad or a sleeping bag liner, which can add another 5 to 10 degrees to your bag.

Is it puncture resistant? Does it break?

The bag is made out of high grade mylar material, which is 100% puncture resistant. It is also waterproof & windproof and has been designed for emergency use against cold, rain, snow & wind.

How large is it? Will it fit me?

When fully opened, it is 7 ft long by 3 ft wide, allowing anyone 7 ft tall to use it comfortably. Packaged inside the stuff sack, it fits in the palm of your hand and weighs an incredible 0.25 lbs.

I want to offer it to the homeless!

Just let us know and we'll give you a bulk discount for that! We're all in for helping whenever possible.

Does it make crinkly/crunchy noises?

The bag is made out of mylar and does make a slight sound when moving around in it. However, mylar is the absolute best material for a blanket/bivy out there, especially in the event of an emergency.

Is it a sleeping bag?

This is a mylar emergency blanket in the shape of a sleeping bag. It is designed for emergencies and should not replace your regular sleeping bag.

Is the bag moisture-wicking?

No. It's made for temporary or emergency use only. The bivy is similar to what is utilized by the military or EMT personnel.

How easy is it to stuff back in the sack?

A piece of cake.

Can I reuse it?

Of course! You can get more than one use out of them, but hopefully you will not need to.

Is the bag open at both ends?

No. One end is open and one end is closed.
